Hermione went straight from Hogwarts into Muggle law school at Oxford University. Three years later, she was a qualified solicitor and began working at a large firm in London, where she has been ever since. She has recently been feeling restless in her work, with her friends around her making dramatic life changes. She has been considering opening her own law practice, but is wary of where this may lead her.

Although still as straight-laced and studious as she was in Hogwarts (complete with her pain in the arse know-it-all habits), Hermione has a tendency to get herself into sticky situations after having a few too many drinks. Don’t even MENTION the near threesome with Oliver Wood and Pansy Parkinson. She knows how to have a good time, but often wakes up the next morning regretting everything.

Hermione is married to her job and not looking for a relationship. She is happy with spending the odd night with a guy purely for physical satisfaction, but always shows them the door when all is said and done.

Hermione knows as well as anyone that life now is a far cry from what it was back in Hogwarts. Not knowing what the future holds scares her, and she’s not one to make changes easily without analyzing the situation to the point of irritation. She hates having things unexpectedly thrown at her, and prefers to have everything mapped out before even considering making the next move.
